In December she released her EP “S I V E L A D O” – A response to having spent some time touring and traveling abroad.

Currently she is touring with her solo program “Sounds from Within”. She sings and plays her own music by playing Handpan/Tonguedrum and using her natural voice, experimenting with different noises and musical elements, partly supported by electronic sounds.

Last year she traveled through Spain and the Canary Islands and performed at various festivals and in the Auditorium Alfredo Klaus.

Nordic melodies, poetic lyrics and the sound of the Ravdrum, somewhere between space and time.

Lachlan Hawkins is a Brisbane-based freelance drummer, handpan player and educator currently engaged in many musical projects, ranging from jazz and improvised music to musical theatre, corporate entertainment and music therapy.

As a performer, Lachlan has been fortunate to work with some of the most accomplished musicians and ensembles in Queensland and beyond, including James Morrison, John Hoffman, Kristin Berardi, Elly Hoyt, Kayleigh Pincott, Melissa Western, The View from Madeleine’s Couch, the Con Artists, Qld Youth Symphony & the Qld Show Choir. During his studies at the Queensland Conservatorium, Lachlan was selected as one of six national finalists in the James Morrison Scholarship (2014), and later graduated in 2015 with the University Medal for Academic Excellence and First Class Honours for his research work relating to tertiary drummers’ heath and mindset.

Outside of drumming, Lachlan has a passion for the beautiful steel sound sculpture known as the ‘handpan’, and has begun developing his own sound as a solo artist in recent years. Lachlan has presented his original music at the Tablelands Folk Festival, Music by the Sea Festival, PanOz Festival, the Stairwell Project at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital as well as sold-out shows at the Brisbane Jazz Club and the QLD Conservatorium. This concert will preview Lachlan’s songs from his first studio album, “No Enemy Within”, to be released in early 2018.
